Polynomial Euclidian Division
This calculator computes the euclidean division of two Polynomials over the rational numbers : P_{1} = Q * P_{2} + R (Q is the quotient and R the remainder).
Answer
Input
Variable = `x`
`P_1 = x^3x^2x2`
`P_2 = 2x^23x2`
Result
Quotient : `Q = 1/2*x + 1/4`
Remainder : `R = 3/4*x  3/2`
`P_1 = Q*P_2+R` Do you have any suggestions to improve this page ?

How to use this calculator?
Variable  Input a singleletter that is the polynomial variable. Examples : polynomial = 4x+1 , then input variable = 'x' polynomial = 9t + 5 , then input variable ='t'

Polynomial  Are accepted :

Examples  Polynomial = x^24x+1 (variable = 'x') Polynomial = (x^21)(x5)3 (variable = 'x') Polynomial = x^34/3*x^2+1 (variable = 'x') Polynomial = 0.23*t^21/5*t+1/2 (variable = 't')
